Ladies Notice Board

Welcome to the Ladies Members page. We offer a friendly and inclusive welcome to all new lady members, whatever your age and ability, experienced golfer or beginner, midweek or weekend members.Our golfing diary is a busy one and it is hoped this page will give you an overview of events planned throughout the year. Please feel free to join us on a Tuesday which is our competition day, when there will always be something happening, be it a qualifying competition or a simple friendly roll-up. Just pop in to join us for brunch if you are unable to make Golf for any reason.

Ladies Spring Meeting

Well done to all ladies who braved a slighlty muddy course and dodged the rain drops to complete the 18 hole competition.  Easter bonnets aplenty, I'm sure all would agree that it was another great day, ending with a lovely lunch. Well done to all those who won prizes and look out for the next event. Thanks to all those that helped with all aspects of the day. 


Ladies Winter Eclectic

Current Ladies Club Competitions

Lady Captains Day - Saturday 7th July

Come and join in the day which has a Scottish Theme.  An 18 hole individual stableford followed by lunch and then a fun team competition.  Dinner in the evening rounds off a great day.  Join for all or part - contact LC or Lady Vice if you haven't already!! 

Club Majors

All draws have now taken place and are available down at the club or via the Locker Room link at the top of the page. Please ensure that you know when your matches need to be played by and contact your opponents in plenty of time to get them organised.   Good luck to all.    

Ladies Summer Eclectic

Now underway, with the normal rules applying, ie an initial card and then additional cards to improve your scores on each hole.  £5 entry fee with half going to the Captains charity and half going to a prize fund.  Full details and rules can be found in the ladies locker room, along with the signup sheet.  Any queries see Wendy Martin. 

Weekend and Thursday Ladies Roll-ups

These are now underway with dates and tee-times on the notice board in the ladies changing room.  Do try and come along and enjoy some fresh air and sunny skies!!  Got a query? - contact Carol Stevenson who can help.

Ladies Friendly Matches

The 2018 season kicks off on Wednesday 2nd May against Surrey Downs at home.  The full fixture list for this year is now available via the link at the top of this page and in diary.  We would encourage as many ladies as possible to take part in these friendly matches and get to play some different courses.  Look out for the signup sheets in the ladies locker room!! 

Mixed Matches

The 2018 is now underway.  The full list of fixtures is now available via the link at the top of this page and the 2018 diary.  Please enter these fun, friendly matches - sign-up sheets will be posted on the main board nearer the time.

Sutton Green Strollers

4 of our ladies took part in the 2017 moonwalk and raised a HUGE amount of money for Cancer Research.  Keen to keep up the momentum, they are organising some fun social walks for anyone who wants to take part.  Full details on the notice board in the ladies locker room. 

The bookshelf in the ladies changing rooms is available for anyone interested in recycling their reading matter or looking for something new to read.
