Welcome to the Ladies Members page. We offer a friendly and inclusive welcome to all new lady members, whatever your age and ability, experienced golfer or beginner, midweek or weekend members.Our golfing diary is a busy one and it is hoped this page will give you an overview of events planned throughout the year. Please feel free to join us on a Tuesday which is our competition day, when there will always be something happening, be it a qualifying competition or a simple friendly roll-up. Just pop in to join us for brunch if you are unable to make Golf for any reason.

Lady Captains Day

An 18 hole individual stableford, lunch, a 9 hole team competition and then dinner made for a great day enjoyed by all Ladies who took part. A scottish theme topped the day.  Huge thanks to all those who helped on the day or in the preparations - congratulations to all the winners.

Ladies Winter Eclectic

Last few weeks to submit cards for the Winter eclectic - see notice board for final date. 

Ladies Spring Meeting - Saturday 30th March 

An 18 hole individual stableford competition, followed by lunch and prize giving.  A theme of "50 shades of Pink" so look out all those summery outfits for this fun day.

EASTER Bunny Hops - Saturday 6th April & Thursday 11th April

Play one or the other - or even both!!  18 hole Stableford and a generous prize table to entice players.  Signup sheets will be available on the main notice board. 

Lady Captains Tour - 12th-14th April 

A weekend of golf and fun to be held at Tudor Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club.  Always a great weekend and if you want to take part but haven't already signed up, please see Janet or Josie. 

Shark Shoot Out - 4th & 5th May 

A 2 day competition consisting of 3 rounds, 1 each of Greensomes and Better Ball on Saturday and then Texas Scramble on Sunday.  A great competition played in pairs so grab a partner and lookout for the signup sheets on the main notice board.  Plus the Monday is a bank holiday so you have a day to recover!! 

Mixed Pairs Tour - 17th - 19th May 

Join your Captains for a weekend of golf at Bicester Golf Club in the stunning Oxfordshire countryside.  Three rounds of golf, 1 warmup for fun and 2 competitive, with spa facilites to relax in when not on the course.  We would love to meet your non-golfing partners who can also use the Spa facilities, not to mention excellent shopping facilities nearby......  Dinner Friday & Saturday evenings and prizegiving prior to departure on Sunday afernoon.

Lookout for the sign-up sheets in the ladies locker room. 

Weekend and Thursday Ladies Roll-ups

These are now underway with dates and tee-times on the notice board in the ladies changing room.  Do try and come along and enjoy some fresh air and sunny skies!!  Got a query? - contact Carol Stevenson who can help re Thursdays and Sarah Fairbairn re Weekend dates.

Ladies Friendly Matches

The 2019 will start soon with the first match against Milford on the 10th May.  Full fixture list for the year is now available via the link at the top of this page and in the diary.  We would encourage as many ladies as possible to take part in these friendly matches and get to play some different courses.  Look out for the signup sheets in the ladies locker room!! 

Mixed Matches

This years matches will begin on Friday 26th April, away against Sandmartins.  Please look out for the sign-up sheets on the main notice board and support these fixtures if you can.  Any questions, please contact this years organisers Ellis Welland and Paul Ledger.

Quiz Nights - October through to March 

Final Quiz night of the season to be held on Friday 8th March. 

Starting at 8pm, these fun evenings are open to all.  Teams of 4-8 people but just turn up  and you will be found a seat.  Come and test those old grey cells!  Food is available prior to the start of the quiz.

Sutton Green Strollers

4 of our ladies took part in the 2017 moonwalk and raised a HUGE amount of money for Cancer Research.  Keen to keep up the momentum, they are organising some fun social walks for anyone who wants to take part.  Full details on the notice board in the ladies locker room. 

The bookshelf in the ladies changing rooms is available for anyone interested in recycling their reading matter or looking for something new to read.

2018 saw Sutton Green Ladies participating in many different competitions and the same is true again this year!  There are many competitions throughout the year so please ensure you look at the SLCGA website regularly to see what competitions are currently open.
